Lily Formato offers individualized art instruction designed to cultivate creative confidence and technical skill. Drawing from years of teaching experience and formal training at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (BFA, Painting & Ceramics, 2025), Lily guides students through the full creative process—from concept to completion—using a hands-on, exploratory approach rooted in contemporary art practice.
Lessons are available both in-person at Formato Fine Arts in Wytheville, VA, and online for remote learners. Instruction can be tailored to beginners seeking foundational skills or advanced artists refining their voice.
